Dr. Russ Wahlen is a chiropractor who specializes in pain syndromes related to spine and musculoskeletal problems. Dr. Wahlen is certified in Motor Vehicle Collision Occupant Injuries and specializes in the treatment of injuries related to auto accidents. Dr Wahlen Studied at Weber State university and completed has doctorate degree in chiropractic at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is married with three children. Dr. Wahlen is an Ogden native and enjoys Utah’s many outdoor activities with his family.


 


Dr Obah is double board certified in Pain Medicine and Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree in Nigeria in 1991, and then worked with the United Nations, (UNHCR) with Refugees for 5 years, before coming to the USA for further studies.

After completing his residency program at Mount Sinai SOM, (NGH Program), he continued to pursue his passion in Interventional Pain Management with a Fellowship at the University of Utah. Dr. Obah served as an Assistant Professor with the U of U after his training. Dr Obah’s clinical interest is in Interdisciplinary Approaches to Chronic Pain Management. He also has a research interest in the Use of Peripheral Nerve Stimulation in the Management of Chronic headaches/migraines.


April SimkinsApril Simkins FNP is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She has specialized in pain management and is board certified by the American Academy of Pain Management. She earned her nursing degree at the University of Utah. She has been practicing pain management at Utah Pain and Rehab since 2004. She enjoys working in a multidisciplinary setting with a coordinated approach to pain management. She is married with two children and enjoys spending time with her family, biking, and outdoor activities.


 


Cathy HarmstonCathy Harmston FNP BC received her RN at Weber State University and did her undergraduate studies at Salt Lake Community College. She worked in the critical care department and emergency room setting for over 10 years at McKay Dee Hospital. Cathy graduated with a Masters Degree of Nursing from The University of Utah in 2006. Cathy worked with both pediatric and geriatric populations in Family Practice and Internal Medicine settings prior to joining Utah Pain & Rehab. Cathy is currently a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Pain Society. Cathy is involved with a book club and loves reading and spending time with her family.
